There's only so many race t-shirts you can give out, so the brief was to go beyond the normal, cliché, promo items.
Support Salomon by curating a premium-feeling, customizable, post race experience for the trail runners competing at the Broken Arrow Sky Race.
Our approach
Photography dark room meets the Salomon S/LAB. Deep in the athlete village, hidden in the back room of the Salomon tent, is a secret and fully-functioning art studio.
Here we gave mini-printing making lessons, captured film photography, helped facilitate personal-narrative, and compiled it all together in custom mat and framing.
Results
Through word-of-mouth over the course of the 3 day event, hundreds of racers searched for and found the Salomon Dark Room. The runners and their support team partook in a 1-on-1 experience creating a framed piece of artwork to document their race weekend.
